2017 Regional Community Investments
Andeavor in Action. Take a look at some examples we’re particularly proud of:
Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest — Bismarck/Mandan Classroom Programs
To reinforce STEM education in the Bismarck/Mandan area, this grant helps bring real-life economic lessons to 3,500 students in 170 kindergarten to high-school classrooms teaching students financial literacy, college and career readiness and entrepreneurship skills.
United Blood Services of North Dakota—Bloodmobile
Around 80 percent of the area hospitals’ blood supply is collected from bloodmobiles. This grant will equip and deploy a new bloodmobile allowing this organization to reach more donors and better serve local communities and hospitals in need.
Bismarck Public Schools — Outdoor Learning Center
This grant is helping create an out door learning center designed by middle-school students. The center will offer interactive environmental education stations for the entire community.
Ronald McDonald House Charities — Mobile Dental Unit
This award will help create a state-of-the-art mobile dental clinic that delivers pediatric dental services to underserved children in the western North Dakota area.
